This projector proves to be an essential tool for business presentations and safety meetings, thanks to its exceptional portability that facilitates flexible viewing options. It’s a must-have for any professional.
Setup is simple, aided by the clear instructions and a wealth of online tutorial videos for further assistance.
Its compact design allows for easy transport to meetings or during travel, fitting conveniently in a pocket or briefcase without any hassle.
I have a samsung phone and I was able to connect without issue. I was watching some concert videos and it worked just fine and I was able to play netflix as well. The sound quality was poor and when I tried to connect a bluetooth speaker there was a lag so I had to deal with the tinny sound from the projector. Maybe it was my speakers fault though as it was a very cheap little bluetooth guy so I will give a nicer speaker a try later.
It was really easy to use overall - it does a great job auto adjusting and I didn't have to mess around with settings or anything although you can't really watch it on a tilt so you have to place it carefully although it has several methods of attachment like magnets and stuff which made it even easier to use.
The battery life was really good. I got well over an hour. Which, for something the size of my phone projecting a super bright light the whole time, I thought was really good. I will use it plugged in a majority of the time but it's nice to know i can bring it camping and project on the ceiling of my car! We live in a magical time!
This is really expensive though and I don't know that for the convenience it's worth the price vs me just watching on my phone if I need something portable.
Picture quality is excellent for a projector this portable. The DLP technology produces crisp, vibrant images with good contrast and color accuracy, especially in darker rooms. Text is sharp enough for presentations, and movies look rich and detailed. The brightness level is strong enough for evening or shaded viewing, and the focus wheel allows for quick, precise adjustments. The fan noise stays quiet and unobtrusive, even during longer viewing sessions.
The built-in speakers are better than expected, producing clear audio that fills a small room without distortion. For larger spaces, connecting an external speaker via Bluetooth or AUX takes just a few seconds. The interface is user-friendly, with quick access to HDMI, USB, and wireless streaming options. It connects seamlessly to phones and laptops, and it recognizes streaming devices like Roku and Fire Stick without issue.
Battery life is another plus, lasting through a full movie on a single charge. It recharges quickly and stays cool during use. After several weeks of testing, it still performs consistently without drops in brightness or connectivity. Overall, this projector is ideal for anyone who wants big-screen viewing in a portable form. It’s well-engineered, easy to use, and genuinely fun to bring along anywhere.
The built-in battery realistically lasts a little over an hour, which is great for quick use or shorter movies. For longer viewing, you’ll probably want to keep it plugged in or use a portable power bank. The built-in speaker is also a pleasant surprise—sound comes through clearly and with good volume, so you don’t always need to connect external speakers which it is an option using Bluetooth.
The fold-out design is clever and versatile, letting you project movies either horizontally or vertically depending on your setup. On top of that, the automatic keystone adjustment works very well, keeping the picture aligned and crisp without needing much manual tweaking.
What makes this projector especially appealing is its portability. It slips easily into a pocket, purse, or travel bag, so you really can take it anywhere. My wife and I have been using it for the past week and it’s been great for movie nights at home. We’re especially excited to bring it along on camping trips—it’s compact, easy to set up, and makes watching movies outdoors possible without hauling around bulky equipment.
Overall, the Aurzen ZIP Tri-Fold projector offers an excellent balance of portability, quality, and ease of use. If you’re looking for a travel-friendly projector that doesn’t compromise much on picture or sound, this one is well worth it.
It’s also really cool that the fact that it can fold up also makes it kind of function as its own tripod so that you can have a steady screen mirror mirroring experience. Well, it doesn’t come cheaply, the value that it brings for business Travelers to be able to at any time suddenly set up a projector in a conference room is really impressive. The only caveat is that you do want to make sure that the room is fairly dark because the projection is only so bright. Recommended!
I love that it mirrors devices instantly without needing Wi-Fi, which is convenient. The auto-focus works great and keeps the picture sharp without needing to mess with the settings. It feels sleek and well-engineered, not like a gimmick.
Overall, this projector manages to be both fun and functional. The battery life has been great and overall it's worth every cent. Definitely a wow-factor piece of tech. Recommend!
Connectivity is excellent for something this compact. You’ve got USB-C, WiFi, Bluetooth, and phone mirroring options, so it works seamlessly with just about anything you throw at it. Whether you’re streaming from your phone or hooking up directly, it’s quick to connect and stays stable.
It’s also super adjustable, making it easy to get the right angle or position without fuss. Mine didn’t come with the free Magplay mount, but I totally recommend grabbing the listing with that option if it’s still available when you’re reading this. They usually have more info about it toward the bottom of the page.
The battery life is better than you’d expect for such a compact unit, giving you enough runtime for a movie night or presentation without constantly hunting for an outlet.
For something this size, it’s loaded with features. The picture is sharp, setup is simple, and the design makes it easy to use anywhere. It’s one of those gadgets that’s fun from the moment you power it on and feels worth more than you paid. Perfect for movies, work, or just streaming something on the fly without dragging out a big setup.
I am not very tech-savvy but the setup is really easy. I mirrored my phone instantly without even needing Wi-Fi, and the auto-focus/keystone correction worked like magic. It adjusted the image right away, no fiddling needed. I also love that it has a vertical mode for TikTok and Instagram videos. It feels like it was designed for phone streaming.
The picture quality is great but it’s not super bright (100 ANSI lumens), so it really only works well in dark rooms. The built-in battery gives me about an hour and a half, which is fine for short movies or workouts, but not a full-length film unless I plug it in.
Sound is decent on its own, but I like that I can connect Bluetooth speakers when I want a bigger experience. The one drawback is that you can’t stream Netflix or Disney+ directly because of content protection, unless you buy the separate dongle.
Overall, I really like this projector. It’s not a replacement for a full home theater, but for something this portable and easy to use, I’m really impressed.
The physical build of this thing is solid and it's got a 7,000 mAh battery that is claimed to provide about 90 minutes of projecting power. You can also just hook it up to a power supply or power brick if you're away from plugs and watch whatever, wherever. There are some annoying limitations about wireless streaming, but I just used a powered USB hub with phone and the projector and I could play/cast anything fine.
It's remarkably easy to used and I tried it on both my phone and entertainment center PC successfully without ever having read the instructions. It's that easy to use. My one gripe about the controls is the top controls are totally smooth so you have to look at them to know if your finger is in the right place. Seeing as how this projector is going to be used in many situations that will likely be quite dark, a bit of a bump or some texture to them would help immensely. It's a minor quibble, but one I kept running up against while testing it out last night with the lights off.
Overall, this little projector punches above its size and if you're into things like this the rather high price might even be worth it. I did find it just a bit more expensive that I felt it should be, but it does deliver on everything it promises.
In short, I'm glad I got it.
The projector auto adjusts to what ever surface you're projecting onto and it does an excellent job at making sure the image is nice and square. It is also very easy to use. Just cast a video directly to it from your phone/tablet/PC and you're ready to go in no time at all. The battery lasts about 90 minutes, but you can connect it to a battery bank or a wall outlet for longer viewing sessions.
My only wish is that this projector had an HDMI port.
Overall I consider this projector to be a good value and I highly recommend it if you're needing a small and portable projector.
Note: This will not by itself play any HDCP content. You will need to get the HDMI broadcast dongle accessory that pairs to this. You can watch YouTube, TikTok, and any type of presentations or video on your device, but not any streaming services.
Pros:
* Compact micro projector with solid performance
* Works seamlessly with iPad, phones, tablets, and Windows 11 laptop without any special software
* No drivers required, supports standard WiFi screen casting
* Built-in battery provides an estimated 80 minutes at minimum brightness (20 minutes per battery light indicator)
* Can run from 12V/2A PD supply when active (little green light indicates a good power source)
* Auto-focus and auto-keystone correction work smoothly
* Low delay—video and mirrored actions stay nearly in sync
* Heavy, stable base with wide extension range
* Good resolution for its size though may need to adjust some fonts for work-based projections
* Built-in speakers provide adequate audio
* Fits in my pocket with ease
Notes:
* Most google-native devices only work on chromecast so my pixel phone does not see it
* Casting-only device, no HDMI or wired inputs (even type-c)
* Ensure your device supports casting via wifi - you'll keep your internet while in use
* Casting does not allow Disney+/Netflix/etc to work - do not get this to show movies on-the-go
* Does produce some heat but is fairly well contained and expelled correctly, nothing unexpected for a small package.
Cons:
* Image is a bit washed out compared to original
* Fan noise is noticeable and fluctuates with load, overall quiet enough to sound like a loaded laptop
* Brightness insufficient for well-lit rooms, best in dim settings which is expected for the size
* Built-in speakers are weaker than laptop audio but can work
It is TINY... like insane that this is a projector. We're talking 3 x 3 square and folded up maybe 3/4". It is pretty dense, being heavy for as small as it is but that's no surprise with the electronics packed into it. The folding design is brilliant and makes it EXTREMELY stable while offering lots of different opportunities for viewing. My office, for example has a slanted roof since it used to be attic space, and I was easily able to angle this up and project perfectly square on the sloped roof.
Connecting to this is silly easy and when you boot it up you're presented with a screen that pretty much instructs you how to connect whether you're using Android, iPhone, Windows, or a Mac. Follow instructions and you're connected in seconds! I'm an Android user so I used the Smart View and it connected with no problems. The projector effortlessly handled switching between portrait and landscape mode. It was pretty much instant... Very cool!
Specs wise... It's a little less claimed resolution than some other mini projectors, but it is double the lumen value of many as well. I'll take lumens over resolution any day of the week. Having that extra brightness is key to this being useful. In a room with one window that filters a bit of the light it was still very bright. Dark rooms will have no issues with this and you'll be able to see it with lights on, though not as well. I'd suggest at least blinds and lights off for best viewing. Audio is loud enough for a small room... which is fine for such a small device.
Battery life is pretty solid for this. It runs a little warm with use but I don't see anything unusual in how it's using the battery. Admittedly I haven't put it through its paces entirely but it's such a cool little piece of tech I had to go ahead and talk about how awesome it is. We've got a bigger Aurzen brand projector that we use for movie nights by the pool, etc that's awesome so it's definitely a brand I've come to trust. They're putting out great projectors at very reasonable prices.
I did a quick video to show the startup time... It's about 30 seconds from button press to ready to pair. You'll hear the fan noise maybe just a little in the background that in person is nearly silent from any distance away. As you can tell in the video it's pretty light in my office and the display is still quite easy to see.
The only thing I wish it had was a longer battery life. I am able to watch about one 45 minute video before the battery starts to wane completely. For longer use, it would be best to keep it plugged in.
Best customer service i have ever seen. Thank you Monica.
When I travel, I usually take a portable projector with me as an entertainment device. The ZIP is the smallest and easiest one I've owned thus far. I use my S25 Ultra in DeX mode, and I have access to everything I need. For example, while waiting for a flight recently, I placed the ZIP on a piece of luggage and pointed its top section vertically 90° to project onto a dark area of the ceiling, connected my phone and put it in my ear buds, and watched an hour-long show on a 50" screen.
Usually, I would need to use a tabletop tripod to position my other projectors, or they would need an internet connection. With the ZIP, I can position it by adjusting the hinges, and then I connect to it using my phone's data or Wi-Fi connection.
I wasn't expecting a super bright or long-lasting battery on this, as it's so tiny; there's only so much that can be done. I have other projectors for that, which are nowhere near as portable. Being able to take my phone screen and make a much larger screen out of it within minutes is a win for me.
It has become my go-to travel accessory; I now take it with me every time I travel.
Pocket), very good quality projection, pretty crisp,
Connects to an external speaker for Bluetooth, and so
Many other features. Everyone who sees this product are fascinated by it. It works Great for both entertainment like pictures and vidoes/even movie watching and also for work meetings, I can’t say enough good things about this product, I am delighted by its experience. I wish it had a longer battery life( right now works for roughly 90 mins on full charge) and has a system of its own ie it requires to pair with a phone or another screen .. but these are very tall asks. Overall delighted with this product and cannot recommend enough
After several days of using the projector, my first though when unbox it is amazing looking device , first time in my life see a device so small and portable like a smart flip phone but it is a projector , can not believe what it can do in the tiny shell, it actually good for team work project or phone entertainment moment, unfortunately the battery is a limit, but that is understandable when you put everything into a tiny portable projector so can not ask for a larger battery then, wonderful thing is you can plug it in and play it at the same time, so run out of battery won’t be a problem.
Design and build quality of the projector are outstanding, and it feels sturdy, tough for long-term usability.
Image quality is as expected and decent for such a portable device. Having an option to choose from two brightness levels is perfect for maintaining longer usage periods. When used in an adequate dark environment, it serves as advertised. Speaker quality and sound level is enough for a standard room and serve the function well. The battery lasts 1 - 1.5 hours.
Operating the projector is quite simple, and it is easy to learn. Auto keystone works seamlessly. Side buttons are easy to operate.
